Raising The Bar

VERY few venues can boast the variety of entertainment offered at the Wharf Tavern's six lounges, bars and nightclub - all under one roof. As it sits mere metres above the Mooloolah River, the Tavern's unbeatable location adds stars to its stunning renovation, making it one of the most appealing venues on the coast for private functions and conferences.

Trevor said it had become particularly popular with corporate clients who were looking for a casual environment in which to gather managers and staff.

 

"We can section off an area on the huge verandahs or a space outdoors, and provide drinks and a la carte service in a relaxed and informal setting,'' Trevor said.

Each section of the Tavern displays its own personal style and caters not only to a selected audience but an entire crowd. The Wharf Tavern has always been popular with the younger generation spinning it up on the dance floor, but now families, droves of interstate visitors and overseas travellers also make up a large proportion of their customers. The Wharf Tavern's beverage list caters for every taste. The venue is a beer lover's paradise, boasting 68 taps with favourites including VB, Cascade Premium Light, Guinness and Carlton Draught. Bundaberg Rum and Couger Bourbon Draught are also available on tap, Pure Blonde, XXXX Gold and Bitter.

The wine menu is predominantly dedicated to blends from Australia, although a Sauvignon Blanc from the fertile Marlborough region in New Zealand also features on the white list. South Australia's offerings include Wolf Blass Red Label Unwooded Chardonnay, Pikes Clare Valley Riesling and Jamiesons Run Chardonnay. Red lovers will enjoy Tasmania's Tamar Ridge Devils Corner Pinot Noir and Western Australia's Evans & Tate Cabernet Merlot. A selection of sparkling and fortified wines is available too.

This menu is great for an afternoon function, or workers gathering to celebrate a promotion or to farewell a staff member from your organization. 

Sausages sizzle with fresh rolls, sausages, coleslaw, bread and any array of sauces.
$8.00 per person. *Limited to party of 20 People.
Note: Guests receive one sausage per person for this menu

A extension of the first menu you have a choice of steak, sausages, marinated chicken, fresh bread rolls and three different salads, plus a array of different sauces and mustards.

$23.50 per person. *Limited to party of 20 People.

Function Information

The WT Char menus are designed for you to choose two items for an alternative drop style function (50/50). The Wt Char function requires a minimum of twelve people and a maximum of 100 people.

Due to liquor licensing regulations any person’s underage, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Once your function has completed any minor must vacate the premises after 9.30pm.

All persons that attend functions at The Wharf Tavern must have a driver’s licence, passport or 18 plus card which has their identification on it to enter the premises. Person's who can not produce their identification can not attend such functions at the Wharf Tavern.

*Special dietary requirements catered for upon requests, you must confirm with the function coordinator prior to your booking.

350gram Grain Fed Rib Fillet on the Bone, Char sealed and finished off in the oven – cooked to a medium served with Roast Potato Mash and Baked Vegetables.

SEAFOOD CHICKEN
Butterflied chicken breast, char grilled & topped with prawns, scallops & a mornay sauce. Finished with avocado & melted mozzarella cheese. Served with beer battered fries & salad.
